Year In Review: 2012

What happened this year in the world of me (in no particular order):

• I got a dog in June. Well, my family did. At first, we started out fostering him to see what it would be like to take care of a dog (he’s our first dog!), but we fell in love with Brian and adopted him. 
• I turned 21. I can now drink alcohol without either having to be in Europe or feeling like I’m doing something illegal.
• I left that awful College Living Experience program I was in in Monterey and started fully living on my own. I could go on and on about how much I hated that place and how they didn’t let me fully be independent (well, aside from funding from my parents).
• I started applying to 4 year colleges to transfer. Just another step closer to leaving community college and getting my degree.
• I went to New York City for the first time. I went with my aunt and did a buch of things, but didn’t get to everything NYC has to offer. That’s when I learned that you need more than one day to do everything in NYC.
• The above trip to my aunt’s also let me experience the pains of making flight connections and flights that arrive hours late by myself. Yeah. United sucks.
• I got an Xbox 360. With the money I got for my birthday, I bought myself an Xbox 360 along with Halo 3 and Skyrim. I am completely hooked on Skyrim now.
